What is Aurem?
Aurem is an entitlement access gateway that sits between media sites and their users. It handles authentication, entitlement verification, tokenization, and access routing in a single system.
How does the activation process work?
You select a payment option on the site's activate page, complete checkout, and are then redirected back with a confirmation. The media site verifies your access using a token issued by Aurem.
How is checkout handled?
Checkout runs through Aurem. Card details are sent directly to our payment processors, and Aurem does not store card numbers, billing addresses or payment credentials.
Is my card data stored by Aurem?
No. Card details are processed by our payment processors and never reach Aurem's database. Aurem stores only the resulting entitlement status and an opaque reference token.
What is an access token?
An access token is a unique identifier issued after successful entitlement verification. The media site uses this token to confirm your access level without needing access to your payment details.
How do I get help with a specific media site?
For issues related to a specific media site, contact that site's support team directly. They have access to your account details and can assist with troubleshooting.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel, visit your membership settings in Aurem. If your access was set up through an external platform, you can also cancel from that account.
